Arise and Shine Caregiver team member undergoes extensive background checks by the Department of Public Safety.  

If a scheduled caregiver cannot come when scheduled due to illness, an emergency situation, or vacation, another equally equipped caregiver will come in the interim. 

In addition to providing in-home care, our network of caregivers can travel to assisted living facilities, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, or any other location the client needs.

Many employers believe that by simply paying an employee a salary instead of an hourly wage, it does away with the obligation to pay overtime. It is not the job title or solely the method of payment that determines if a job position meets the Department of Labor requirements to be exempt from overtime. A person may have "Manager" or "Supervisor" in their job title, but if certain criteria aren't met the employee may be entitled to overtime even if they are paid a salary. 

There are many types of employee relations issues ranging from basic employee counseling, coaching, conflict resolution or resolving complaints. The range of potential issues is endless. We conduct an extensive internal investigation including prior employment and personal references. We perform a nationwide database search into each applicant’s criminal background. Security personnel must undergo criminal history fingerprint checks conducted by the UK Department of Public Safety.

Our training program consists of classroom training that covers state laws and general security procedures. In addition, all security personnel receive specific on-site training for each individual client. All security officers are properly trained before starting their assignment.

Yes, we provide overnight shifts anywhere from 7 pm-7 am. We also have live-in caregivers who can cover either daytime or overnight shifts but not both. For 24-hour uninterrupted care, our platinum care covers round-the-clock care provided by two caregivers in split 12-hour shifts.

To provide the best care and prevent caregiver burnout, we advise one caregiver per parent. We have discounted rates for 2 service users in the same household.
